- Proven experience as a fiber Engineer or similar role in telecommunications.
- In-depth knowledge of fiber optic cable installation, splicing, and testing techniques.
- Proficiency with fiber optic testing equipment (OTDR, power meters, etc.).
- Familiarity with network infrastructure and base station connectivity.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various sites as needed.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., FOA, CFOT) are a plus.
- Install, splice, and test fiber optic cables for base stations
- Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure network integrity.
- Conduct site surveys to plan and design fiber optic pathways.
- Collaborate with the network operations team to optimize fiber connections.
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Respond to network outages and perform emergency repairs as needed.
