We are seeking a talented and motivated Events Manager to join our growing team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Event Strategy: Define how Events can contribute to our brand building, customer acquisition and retention objectives, and lead the execution of this strategy.
Planning: collaborate with local teams and other global stakeholders to develop and/or optimise an events calendar covering both exhibiting at/sponsoring 3rd party events, as well as hosting owned events. Agree & manage the Events Budget.
Execution: Plan and execute key global and local events (with support from local market teams where relevant). Market specific events will in most cases be led by local teams.
Performance reporting: Develop and manage an effective reporting process to clearly communicate and optimise the impact of the investment in events. Use historical data to support you in forecasting performance and ROI for future initiatives.
Best practice guidelines: Define best practice operational guidelines to increase the effectiveness and ensure consistency of our event activity across markets. Share and localisation of the message/brand across the markets where Verto This should include defining the ‘event experience’ for both internal teams and customers. Communicate and collaborate with local market teams to ensure these guidelines are followed.
Event Marketing: Define and coordinate with the wider marketing team our event communication plans (pre and post campaigns, follow ups, etc).
What You Need:
5+ years’ experience in event management from a B2B environment
Proven track record of planning and executing events in multiple markets that drive measurable business impact
Ability to think and act strategically, understanding how Events can support our commercial objectives across acquisition and retention
Understanding of digital event formats (webinar/virtual conferences)
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
Creative thinker with data-driven approach. Deep knowledge of the global B2B events landscape.
Proficiency in Hubspot is necessary for this role.
