Head of Startup School
The Head of Startup School leads the design and execution of the Startup School, equipping early-stage entrepreneurs with essential knowledge, skills, and networks. The role ensures curriculum quality, mentor engagement, and measurable founder development outcomes.** **This role requires a senior operator who combines curriculum design expertise with execution discipline, ensuring participants gain critical skills, networks, and early-stage funding opportunities.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead planning, design, and deployment of the Startup School curriculum and modules with content partners.
- Manage program applications, participant selection, onboarding, and cohort delivery.
- Engage regional hubs to coordinate local meetups, mixers, and participant support.
- Oversee the recruitment of mentors, facilitators, and guest speakers to ensure quality learning.
- Monitor participant progress, grant eligibility, and engagement metrics.
- Deliver demo days and ensure effective milestone-triggered grant disbursement.
- Develop SOPs for program iteration and continuous improvement.
- Produce regular program reports, insights, and impact documentation for leadership and donors on program effectiveness and participant outcomes
- Ensure inclusivity, accessibility, and relevance of program delivery.
- Develop partnerships to strengthen founder support and networks.
- Oversee delivery logistics, events, and communications
Core Expertise
- 7+ years in adult education, edtech, or startup ecosystem program design.
- Strong experience with learning management systems and blended learning approaches.
- Proven ability to lead large-scale or multi-regional learning initiatives.
- Skilled in stakeholder and partner management across diverse teams.
- Deep understanding of Nigeria’s startup and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
