We are seeking an experienced Freight Operations Manager to lead and optimize our import and export operations. In this critical role, you will coordinate logistics, manage transportation resources, and ensure compliance with international trade regulations. You will develop strategies to streamline supply chain processes, enhance service delivery, and improve operational performance. Leading a dedicated team and collaborating with suppliers and carriers, you will leverage your industry expertise to drive efficiency and success.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of freight operations, including import and export logistics.
  • Develop and implement efficient logistics strategies to enhance operational workflows.
  • Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure timely shipment deliveries.
  • Monitor logistics performance and analyze key metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, standards, and customs requirements.
  • Manage a team of logistics professionals, providing training and guidance to optimize their performance.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors to foster collaboration and service excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in freight operations or logistics management.
  • In-depth knowledge of import and export regulations and compliance matters.
  • Proven experience in managing freight logistics and a strong understanding of supply chain processes.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions for process improvements.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a focus on building effective relationships.
  • Strong work ethic — You are self-driven and willing to do what it takes to deliver results.

Interview Process
