About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Marketing Associate for our subsidiary, Hisa, a stock trading company allowing everyday Africans to easily invest in both local and global assets including stocks, ETFs, bonds and alternative investments.
The Marketing Associate will drive Hisa's growth through strategic marketing campaigns, brand building, partnerships, and customer engagement.
This role is ideal for someone with agency experience, fintech experience, or a combination of both. You'll work across digital campaigns, brand marketing, events, partnerships, product launches, PR, and community initiatives to position Hisa as Kenya's leading investment platform.
This is a hands-on role suited for someone who enjoys both thinking strategically and executing at speed.
What You’ll Do
Campaign Management
- Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social media, PR, events, influencers, and partnerships.
- Coordinate campaign timelines, budgets, agencies, and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor campaign performance and optimize based on data and customer insights.
Brand & Positioning
- Help strengthen Hisa's brand positioning within Kenya and other growth markets.
- Ensure consistency across all customer touchpoints.
- Develop compelling messaging for products, campaigns, and corporate communications.
Growth Marketing
- Support customer acquisition initiatives across paid and organic channels.
- Work closely with product and operations teams to improve customer activation and retention.
- Monitor conversion funnels and recommend improvements.
Partnerships & Community
- Support strategic partnerships with universities, corporates, fintechs, media partners, influencers, and ecosystem stakeholders.
- Coordinate events, webinars, investment workshops, and community engagement activities.
- Build relationships that strengthen Hisa's brand awareness and credibility.
Content & Communications
- Coordinate the creation of high-quality content across social media, email, website, blogs, and video.
- Work with designers, agencies, and content creators to execute campaigns.
- Support PR opportunities and media engagement.
Performance & Reporting
- Track marketing KPIs including customer acquisition, activation, engagement, campaign ROI, website traffic, and social performance.
- Prepare weekly and monthly marketing reports with actionable recommendations.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve marketing efficiency.
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience in marketing, advertising, communications, or brand management.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Experience managing integrated marketing campaigns.
- Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyse campaign performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
You’ll Thrive in This Role If You Have
- Experience working within a creative or advertising agency.
- Experience marketing financial services or fintech products.
- Experience with performance marketing, CRM, and lifecycle marketing.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and email marketing platform
