About the Role
We are looking for a Multimedia Content Producer to support our subsidiary, Hisa—a stock trading platform that enables everyday Africans to invest easily in local and global assets, including stocks, ETFs, bonds, and alternative investments.
In this role, you will lead the production of compelling video and photo content that supports investor education, product storytelling, marketing campaigns, and customer engagement. You will combine strong technical production skills with creativity and storytelling to translate complex financial concepts into clear, engaging visual content.
What You’ll Do
Content Production
- Produce and edit short-form and long-form video content for social media, webinars, educational series, testimonials, and product explainers.
- Capture and edit high-quality photography for campaigns, blogs, events, and product updates.
- Create motion graphics, animations, and basic graphic content where required.
- Ensure visual consistency and brand alignment across all content and platforms.
Creative Development
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Research & Customer Engagement on content ideas, scripts, storyboards, and shoot plans.
- Propose creative formats and concepts that simplify investment topics for diverse audiences.
- Contribute to content calendars, campaign ideation, and planning sessions.
Technical & Production Management
- Manage camera, lighting, audio setup, and studio or on-location production.
- Organize and maintain media equipment, digital assets, and content libraries.
- Deliver high-quality content within tight timelines and fast turnaround cycles.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with marketing, product, and customer support teams to produce internal and external media assets.
- Support coverage of events, product launches, interviews, and key company initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
- Diploma or Degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in videography, photography, and video editing (including freelance or contract work).
- Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, After Effects, Photoshop, and Lightroom.
- Strong understanding of storytelling and content formats across social media platforms.
- Experience working with DSLR or mirrorless camera systems.
