What You'll Achieve:

  • You'll work with others to plan, shape, and build new mobile features from start to finish.
  • You'll help improve performance and reliability, or polish existing features.
  • You'll build internal tools to support simplicity and productivity for the whole team.

Skills and Toolset You'll Need to Bring:

  • 3+ years of professional software development experience using React.js Native. You know and understand all the concepts and motivations surrounding React and its concepts
  • For you, problem-solving starts with a clear and accurate understanding of the context. You can decompose tricky problems and work towards a clean solution, by yourself or with teammates. You're comfortable asking for help when you get stuck.
  • Experience working animations with tools like React Native Reanimated and Skia.
  • Worked on more complex aspects of mobile dev like Deep-linking, Notifications, Profiling.
  • You can work with others to build and maintain quality user interfaces for a big audience, using React Native. If you've experienced the technical challenges of rapid growth, that's a plus.
  • You care about business impact and prioritize features accordingly. You're not just going after cool stuff—you understand the balance between craft, speed, and the bottom line.
  • You think critically about the implications of what you're building, and how it shapes real people's lives. You understand that reach comes with responsibility for our impact—good and bad.
  • You can translate high-level designs into production-ready UI. You are comfortable making judgment calls on tradeoffs and edge cases in the user experience on your own and actively partner with designers to figure out the details when the requirements are unclear.
  • You communicate nuanced ideas clearly, whether you're explaining technical decisions in writing or brainstorming in real-time. In disagreements, you engage thoughtfully with other perspectives and compromise when needed.
  • For you, work isn't a solo endeavor. You enjoy collaborating cross-functionally to accomplish shared goals, and you care about learning, growing, and helping others to do the same.
  • You know how to remain productive while working remotely. You've mastered synchronous and asynchronous communication in a remote environment
  • You are of high agency, taking the ownership mindset with your work, willing to use creative execution to get over problems as you face them.
