About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled and imaginative Video/Motions Designer to join our content marketing team. You’ll play a key role in shaping the visual storytelling behind our brand — from animated explainers and product walkthroughs to social media videos and motion graphics for campaigns. If you love turning complex ideas into captivating visuals and working in a fast-paced, creative team, this role is for you.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design and animate motion graphics for social media, campaigns, product education, and branded content.
- Develop and maintain reusable templates and design systems to speed up content production.
- Collaborate with writers, designers, marketers, product teams, and external consultants to shape creative concepts and bring them to life.
- Edit together original footage, screen recordings, and stock assets into cohesive videos.
- Colour-grade, retouch, and optimise video content for different channels (social, website, events, presentations).
- Translate scripts and storyboards into visually compelling motion assets that reflect Raenest’s tone and identity.
- Source and incorporate third-party elements like music, SFX, and stock footage when needed.
- Support script development by offering visual direction and technical input during pre-production.
- Stay up to date with trends in video and motion design, animation tools, and digital storytelling techniques.
What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in motion design, video editing, animation, or a similar role preferably within fintech or tech startups.
- A strong portfolio that showcases your skills in both 2D and 3D motion graphics, animation, and storytelling.
- Proficiency in tools such as After Effects, Adobe Premiere, Cinema 4D, Adobe Animate, or similar.
- Understanding of animation principles, timing, easing, and transitions.
- Familiarity with Lottie, JSON animations, and optimising motion assets for web and mobile.
- Strong eye for detail, visual consistency, and aesthetics.
- Experience working on projects from concept to completion in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.
- Great communication skills and the ability to present ideas clearly to both creative and non-creative teams.
