    Senior People Business Partner

    Job Summary

    • The Senior People Business Partner is a strategic role responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management within the group. This role acts as an advisor to management on human resource-related issues while also serving as an employee champion and change agent.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Strategic Partnership & Advisory:

    • Collaborate with the Head of People Operations to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals.
    • Provide guidance and coaching to managers on team management, performance, and employee relations issues.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to team leads/managers by providing insights on workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development.
    • Identify and anticipate HR-related trends and challenges in the business units, recommending proactive solutions.

    Talent Management & Development

    • Partner with managers to identify key talent and develop career progression plans for high-potential employees.
    • Lead talent reviews and succession planning exercises for departments.
    • Identify training needs and collaborate with team leads and the Head of People Operations to design and deliver programs.
    • Support onboarding and integration processes for new hires in collaboration with team leads/managers.

    Employee Engagement & Culture Building

    • Drive initiatives to strengthen employee engagement, promote a positive work culture, and improve retention.
    • Act as a culture steward by ensuring company values and behaviors are reflected in all HR processes.
    • Partner with teams to deliver regular and effective communication to employees.
    • Gather employee feedback through surveys and focus groups, and implement action plans to address concerns.

    Performance Management

    • Drive the performance management cycle within teams, ensuring timely goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback.
    • Train and support managers in conducting performance discussions and managing underperformance.
    • Collaborate with the Head of People Operations to implement recognition and reward programs.

    Employee Relations & Compliance

    • Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations issues, ensuring resolution in line with company policies and local labor laws.
    • Manage disciplinary actions, grievances, and investigations as needed.
    • Ensure company policies and practices are consistently applied across the group.
    • Partner with the legal team to ensure compliance with labor regulations and mitigate HR-related risks.

    HR Analytics & Reporting

    • Use HR metrics and analytics to identify trends, inform decisions, and track the success of HR initiatives.
    • Provide regular reports and insights to leadership on workforce trends, attrition, engagement, and other key HR metrics.
    • Support budgeting and workforce planning by providing data-driven recommendations.

    Change Management

    • Partner with team leads/managers to manage organizational change and transformation initiatives.
    • Ensure effective communication and employee support during periods of change.

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Partner with the Head of People Operations to ensure competitive pay structures for the group.
    • Support compensation reviews and participate in benchmarking exercises.
    • Collaborate on incentive programs and other benefits initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction and retention.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the fintech industry.
    • Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPM, PHRi, SHRM-CP) is required.
    • Proven ability to build strong, trusted relationships with business leaders.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to influence and drive change in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
    • Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret and act on HR analytics.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Proficiency in HR systems and tools.
    • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
    • Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
    • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
