OmniRetail Technology Limited is a unified consumer goods distribution platform based in Lagos. The company offers OmniBiz, a B2B e-commerce platform, Mplify, a Distribution Management solution; and OmniPay, an embedded finance solution for OmniBiz and Mplify. These products aim to digitize key stakeholders in traditional trade and drive growth for FMCG distributors.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Finance Business Partner at OmniRetail. The Finance Business Partner will be responsible for financial planning, business planning, analytical tasks, finance-related activities, and financial reporting daily.
Responsibilities include:
Prepare management accounts and related KPI documentation for your business unit, including monthly profit & loss accounts with analysis and commentary, balance sheet extracts, and reconciliations.
Continually review, maintain, and improve processes, cash collection, purchase orders, and ledger postings against budget/forecasts.
Identify and resolve any areas of financial weakness within the business unit promptly.
Support the business leader with the preparation of the annual business unit plan in conjunction with the relevant commercial leaders.
Prepare cost-benefit reports and pro-active analytical works to facilitate continuous improvement of the business unit's performance.
Fully comprehend the financial and commercial details of the business unit's activities to ensure optimal performance and risk management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Financial Planning and Business Planning skills.
- Qualified accountant with a management accounting background (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
- Experience in the retail or technology industry is a plus
- Finance and Financial Reporting knowledge
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team
