Role Objectives
To support our ambitious growth goals, MDaaS is seeking a People Operations Specialist with a strong background in recruitment for clinical roles. Based at our headquarters in Lagos, the ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and dedicated to providing an excellent applicant and employee experience. Key responsibilities include driving our talent acquisition efforts, ensuring the smooth execution of hiring processes, and contributing to the continuous improvement of People Operations practices as the company expands. As a healthcare organization, approximately half of our team is comprised of clinicians, including doctors, nurses, sonographers, radiographers, and lab scientists; the People Operations Specialist with collaborate closely with the leadership team, clinic managers, the People Operations Manager, and other stakeholders to implement effective talent acquisition and retention strategies.
Role Responsibilities
The People Operations Specialist will report directly to the company’s People Operations Lead; their responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:
- Collaborate with HQ managers, diagnostic clinic managers, and other team members to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Source, screen, and interview candidates to ensure a high-quality talent pool.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from job posting to offer negotiation.
- Collect and analyze recruitment data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Generate regular reports on key hiring metrics, providing insights for data-driven decision-making.
- Evaluate and optimize existing recruitment processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance the overall hiring experience.
- Collaborate with the People Operations team to facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
- Guide new employees on HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
Qualifications for People Operations Specialist
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a Management-related field.
- At least 5 years of experience as an HR Specialist or similar role, ideally within a healthcare organization.
- At least 3 years of experience recruiting for clinical roles, such as medical doctors, nurses, radiographers, and lab scientists.
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes, sourcing techniques, and interviewing best practices, especially for clinical positions.
- Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in HRIS and data analysis tools.
- In-depth knowledge of Nigerian employment laws and regulations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
