Job Summary:
Earnipay Ltd. is seeking a diligent and proactive Loan Collection Officer to oversee and manage loan repayments from our existing credit clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely follow-ups and reminders before loan maturity, maintaining regular communication with clients, and updating payment records. The Loan Collection Officer will also play a key role in negotiating repayment plans, coordinating with recovery agents, and proposing restructuring or settlement plans to management when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and oversee the existing credit client list to ensure timely loan repayments.
Send reminders and follow-ups to clients before loan due/maturity dates.
Maintain constant communication with credit clients and provide feedback to the sales team and risk analyst.
Ensure that repayment plans are followed and negotiate loan workout plans with clients when necessary.
Update payment records and track clients who meet their monthly obligations.
Propose loan restructuring plans or full and final settlement agreements for management approval.
Serve as the primary contact for recovery agents and security agencies in cases of defaulting clients.
Ensure below 5% NPL
Investigate and resolve client concerns related to loan repayment issues.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal frameworks for loan collection.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree - Legal background preferred.
Minimum of 2years of experience in loan collections, credit management, or a related role.
Strong understanding of loan collection strategies, debt recovery processes, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to handle difficult conversations professionally and empathetically.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
Prior experience working with recovery agents and security agencies is an added advantage.
